You asked for it and we delivered! The first ever AVCS Engine Add-On Wiring Kit. This is a perfect Add-On harness for any ej205 2.0L WRX customer running a JDM v7/8/9 AVCS equipped motor with a USDM WRX Engine Harness. You will find the USDM Engine Harness is missing 4 connectors: (2) for the rear cam position sensors and (2) for the AVCS solenoids. Our AVCS Engine harness fills the voids and does so with ease, average install time is 30 minutes. If your JDM engine arrived with the Engine Harness already in place then you do not need this kit. Rather, you will need our AVCS Bulkhead kit to complete the wiring from the Engine to the ECU.

WRX Engine Harness + AVCS Engine Harness = JDM ver7 STi AVCS Engine harness
This kit mimics the JDM Engine wiring with this Add-On kit. The ver8 and 9 both use an air intake temp sensor, which is not addressed with this kit.
Bulkhead Harness = the large harness that runs from the ECU, across the firewall, and ultimately out to the Black/Brown plugs at the battery as well as the Grey plug on the passenger side strut tower. The Bulkhead harness terminates in the engine bay and ultimately connects to the Engine Harness. Every 2002-2005 WRX comes with a bulkhead harness from the factory, but the US cars do not have the AVCS Bulkhead wiring, that is where our kit comes into play.
Engine Harness = the Engine Harness continues where the Bulkhead Harness stops. The Engine Harness connects to the coil packs, injectors, throttle body, etc. It resides underneath the intake manifold and has 3 main male plugs to it: Black, Brown, and Grey. The JDM ver7-9 motors will have the exact same plugs. If, for some reason, the JDM motor has the plugs cut off (or the entire Engine Harness is missing) then you will want to purchase our AVCS Engine Harness which will convert your Stock US ej205 Engine Harness into a JDM Engine Harness.
